116CIT Train-the-Trainer De-escalation WorkshopThe Train the Trainer (TTT) de-escalation workshop is a 2-day training course of instruction. This course is specifically for LEOs and mental health professionals interested in joining the 11th Judicial CIT training program as de-escalation instructors. Participants will learn from master instructors and gain knowledge on the principles of de-escalation and how to teach first responders within the CIT 40-hour training course. 117CIT Instructor OrientationThis CIT 8 Hour Instructor course is intended for current CIT instructors as well as those interesting in becoming a CIT instructor. This course will familiarize the participant with the CIT 40-hour curriculum, its design, building blocks, and purpose. Non law enforcement participants will also gain awareness of police culture and develop teaching techniques specific to teaching law enforcement officers. Coaching will be provided (as needed) through instruction delivery. No previous experience required, just a desire and motivation to teach law enforcement officers. 110CCIT 16 HourCommunications CIT (CCIT) 16-hour course designed to prepare telecommunications personnel to identify mental health related calls, utilize de-escalation techniques and interventions, gather critical information and dispatch appropriate assistance.
